Porter Tree Services is excited to be attending the Maryland Home and Garden Show on March 5 through 6 and 11 through 13! The Maryland Home and Garden Show features vendors and exhibitors from several industries that cater to creating the most artful home, inside and out. You can explore landscaping, home improvement, and gardening vendors and displays to see what these professionals can offer to create a truly beautiful home for you.
2016 Theme: Art in the Garden
When you enter the Maryland Home and Garden Show, you will be greeted by an amazing natural masterpiece created by several landscapers. Several gardens interpret how art can improve a natural landscape. There will also be several artists from Zoll Studio who will be painting Plein Air style as you make your way through the beautiful, artful landscapes. Inside are several equally gorgeous home exhibits to inspire your passion for interior design. Finally, make sure to make your way to the craft show for beautiful pieces of art to add to your home.
Events
In addition to live painters, home and garden exhibits, and products and crafts for sale, there will also be several other exciting events! Nationally known art and antiques appraiser Todd Peenstra will be giving free appraisals of your jewelry, art, glass, porcelain, sculptures, glass, bronze, silver, coins, furniture and much more. If you have an antique family heirloom that you’ve always wondered the value of, bring it with you for a free appraisal! If you will be bringing your family along to the show, you can keep your kids entertained with a free petting zoo. There will be cute animals for children (and adults!) to pet, including goats, sheep, alpacas, bunnies, a pot belly pig, a tortoise, and more! After visiting the petting zoo, take the kids to The Federated Garden Clubs of MD educational exhibit “Minds Garden” (only on March 5-6). Learn about garden clubs and check out the flower-dressed mannequins! Finally, every hour Radebaugh Florist will give away a free bouquet as a way of saying thank you for attending the show!
